    Tagging and Time

    TAGGING THREADS

When you start a topic, it is helpful to tag the people that you wish to be in the thread with you, or leave it with the tag of "Open", to indicate that the thread is open for entry by anyone. You can tag using the 'Topic Tags' field just beneath the 'Topic Title' field when starting a topic, or by selecting 'Use Full Editor" when editing the opening post within a thread. Do NOT put tags in the title of your threads - it makes things difficult to read across the site for other players. You can do multiple tags by separating them with commas. In addition, if you at the top of your post while putting the time put the character you are inviting to be part of the thread by putting an @ in front of their name (ex: @Zeph) it will not only link their profile but it sends them a personal notification that they were mentioned in the thread so you dont have to send them the link!

    TIME ON THREADS

There is one thing that should be understood about time in this game:

GAME TIME = Will always be REAL TIME date plus three years.

It is very important to realize that when posting a new topic, the date and time for that topic will default to GAME TIME unless you put a date on the top of the thread specifying otherwise. This especially helps when a single day in a thread takes weeks to actually post back and forth - it reminds everyone when the thread actually happened. We recommend you put the date and time of day on the top of the opening post. Keep in mind you can always start a thread that happened in the past, but never in the future.

Example of a date on top of post with a "call out" for a player:

    Date: July 4, 2018

    Time: 5pm
