    Laws / Codes of Conduct

Had it been up to Huor alone, the laws of the Elven realms would have been copied in their entirety for this world. In fact, they were when the first council was in place. But with the shifting nature of the alliance, there had to be a balance of laws for both Elves, Fae and now the other Outworlders. As with many things the elves have their hand in, there is a tone of aloofness even in the known codes of conduct.

While not a written law codex, the laws of Fanya Niasa are understood as follows:

    • Fanya Niasa will serve as a haven for all Outworlders, regardless of race or creed.
    • Disputes among Fanya will be resolved locally by the senior authority for the city/territory. The Council is reserved for heinous crimes against the Nation as a whole not local squabbles.
    • Conspiracy to expose/surrender the Outworlder people to the Earthborn will be seen as a heinous crime and is punishable by death.
    • Citizens will never knowingly try to "trick" fae that are tied to such things into giving up their boon (wishes); such things will only be given freely by the fae.
    • If murder is committed, one must be prepared to defend their reasons for committing it to the local authority.
    • The Alliance owes no Outworlder anything. If one is not willing to work for oneself, there rest of the nation is not obligated to support them.
