The bandits had caught the smell of blood and found themselves on the trail of a lonely girl walking along with what looked like food. These men, these monsters, had thoughts on their mind that would cause most people to cringe if spoken aloud. Pandora was utterly unaware of their presence, and hummed to an old song her mom used to sing to her as a kid.
npc* "Oi lassie! Where you think you're goin?"
Pandora's heart skipped a few beats as she stopped in her tracks and eyed the entrance of her cave. It was barely visible behind the bushes and trees that surrounded it. A few blinks later and she turned to see a few men walking towards her. They were ragtag and looked as if Pandora wasn't their first victim.
"Uh.. Can I help you lads?"
The men laughed and that look in her eyes caused Pandora's gut to twist inside of her. The hunger they had wasn't just for the food in the girls hands, but for the stuff beneath her clothes as well. Pandora took a few steps back and the men quickened their pace.
npc* "Where ya think you're goin' lass? We just want to have a conversation!"
With a shake of her head and a twist of the body Pandora spun on her heel and bolted for the cave dropping her food as she went. A few hoots and hollers sounded out from the dirty men that now pursued her, there thick soled boots thunking with each heavy step.
There it was, the cave, she was so close. The men were on her heels though. She burst through the brush several seconds before the men and darted into the dark cave.
npc 1* "The damn bitch went in there."
npc 2* "Well go git her then!"
npc 3* "Shh... You hear that?"
From inside the cave came the sound of whispers, and something moved in the dark. What sounded like rock grinding against rock echoed from deep within the cave and back to the men that stood before it's now seemingly hungry mouth.
npc* 1 "Maybe... Maybe we should get outa here."
With a group of nods the men began to back up. But like shadows from the darkness three, six foot tall men jumped out followed by a line of dust. The hulking masses smashed into the ground with enough force to shake it, and as they rose to their full height dust and sand fell off their form and to the ground. They looked like men made of clay, and as the girl emerged from the shadows behind them she looked at the bandits with a shake of the head.
"You lads really need to learn how to treat a woman."
As she finished speaking the statues lurched forward and gripped the men by the arms, and with limitless strength lifted them from the ground. Kicking and screaming the misfits looked into the eyes of death. One last fighting kick and one of the misfits crushed the nose of one of the statues and behind them Pandora crumbled to the ground. The clay men yanked with all their might and removed the arms from the men with the sickening sound of tearing flesh and breaking bones. The men had little time to scream before their lives were smothered out by the giant clay people.
