LEGIONS OF NORTH AMERICA
The VANGUARD refers to their main offices and headquarters as Legions.
NEW YORK LEGION (TWELFTH LEGION)
The VANGUARD decided to use this large brick building for their New York Legion. Located at 25 Henry Street in Brooklyn Heights (on the corner of Henry and Middagh) the ten story building had been owned by the organization since it's construction in 1957.
The New York Legion may not look like much from the outside, but within it is state of the art, containing a training facility (with a pool), medical facility, and various departments from forensics to weapon development.
Delaney Grant has presided over the New York Legion as it's Commander since 2015. She often returns to Atlanta and in her absence the responsibilities of command are divided between Pharell Shore and Jericho West.
Every Legion is well fortified, especially New York. The VANGUARD realizing that other factions may not hesitate to wage war directly on their organization ensure the safety of their employees with beefed up security.
While the Henry Street location represents the law enforcement side of the Legion all personnel are trained at Fort Hamilton which is located 230 Sheridan Loop in Brooklyn. This site houses the military side of the faction. Several members of the New York VANGUARD go back and forth between the main building on Henry and Fort Hamilton.
THE FIRST LEGION (ATLANTA)
The heart of the VANGUARD resides in Atlanta, Georgia within the former Fulton County Government Building, located on the corner of Pryor Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. They have also absorbed the Fulton County Marshal's building and the Fulton County Sheriff's Office as well, now serving as a barracks.

BASTIONS
As the VANGUARD has grown it has reached out to its public supporters by placing 'Bastions' in the community. These are not unlike police precincts and in fact the VANGUARD has purchased those precincts forced to close down from lack of funds and converted them.
Bastions represent the LAW ENFORCEMENT side of the VANGUARD. Members whose character's work for them in this capacity are encouraged to use a bastion as a backdrop.
Member characters are also more than welcome to assign their character a rank. All Bastions are headed by a Captain and even this position is available but please bear in mind that the higher one's rank the more their duties are administrative and they are almost always older individuals. A twenty-something Captain is not realistic and would not be allowed.
