New World Defense Division

Headquartered in Seattle, the N.W.D.D. was established at the onset of the Nevus Event by several like-minded corporations and members of collapsed agencies. They united based on the common philosophy that divided the entire economy of the west would fall and were instrumental in the formation of the Federation of Western America (F.W.A.)

They began in and since taken over the majority of the top floors of the Two Union Square building located at 600 University St and 601 Union St (Seattle).

Between the years of 2011 and 2012, the corporate conglomerate significantly expanded their assets world wide, establishing a firm foot-fold in Scandinavia and became a presence in the EAST AMERICAN ALLIANCE (E.A.A.)

NATIONALIZATION

The N.W.D.D's higher ranking employees were once members of the former National Security Agency and perhaps it may have been their goal along to rekindle that organization. At the end of 2015 the NWDD assumed a role in law enforcement as government security agency, relinquishing much of it's assets to the FEDERATION in order to bolster economic stability.

The N.W.D.D. has combined new age ideologies with the philosophy of the former National Security Agency. All their members are encouraged to incorporate such devotions as yoga, tai-chi and meditation into their daily work lives. Eastern philosophy and practices are the core of their mission as they believe it promotes harmony in the body, mind, and the environment. Their motto and corporate slogan is: 'In the darkest corner, we see the light.'

MISSION

The N.W.D.D. works to enforce and support the Federation and the Alliance by providing solutions to enhance and secure society from any and all threats to the struggling government structure. The organization attempts to accomplish these goals through law enforcement and research.

They adhere to rather lofty and idealistic aspirations. They wish to preserve the world as it was known by teaching those altered by the Nevus how to control their abilities in order to comply with regulations they wish to set. Just as guns NEED to be controlled so do those possessed of power that rival and even surpass the violence they promote.

Another major goal, one not openly advertised but suspected, is the merging of the FWA and the EAA under one banner.

Current Character and Co-Stars on the Board:

Karl Reinhardt, CEO of Genomorph Labs and Director of the Research Sector. Known as a Sector Director.

The NWDD is comprised of three main sectors, Investigations, Defense and Research. These are mainly designations and while some of it's employees work specifically in one or the other many of it's agents exist in one or more of these divisions working in varying capacities.

INVESTIGATIVE SECTOR

This division assists law enforcement of the FWA and holds field offices in other parts of the world including the EAA Their agents are highly specialized in investigating paranormal and supernatural phenomena that are deemed a threat to society.

It is organized in the typical fashion of the former F.B.I. Agents carry badges/credentials which have limited authority outside of the Federation.

Quite often these agents operate in a professional public matter but there are covert operatives carrying out sensitive tasks in the world.

DEFENSE SECTOR (CONFEDERATE GUARD & PACIFIC RIM DEFENCE)

The NWDD maintains the main defensive force for the Federation which is why is also known as the 'Confederate Guard'.

They adopted the same structures as the US Marines, US Navy and US Air Force for their ground, air and sea forces. They basically still operate as a military force but the highest ranks do not exceed, Brigadier General and Admiral Chief. The highest ranks of the corporate guard are on par with Directors.

The military installation of the NWDD is headquartered at Fort Lewis. While their armed forces are speckled across the FWA, the Defense Sector is based in Washington State. Fort Lewis is now referred to as the Pacific Rim Defense, housing both agents and military personnel who often work together.

THE RESEARCH SECTOR

The NWDD incorporated it's two top research corporations as their Research Division — Genomorph Labs (FWA) and I.C.O.R. (EAA)

Karl Reinhardt, CEO of Genomorph, and a member of the Board of Directors is the head of the Research Division. I.C.O.R. was purchased, and amalgamated with Genomorph Labs in 2010 to establish a presence in New York and the Alliance. This corporation is representative of some of the world's most advanced cyber-genetic research and is the headquarters of the Eastern Research Division.

This part of the NWDD still function in a corporate manner to offer a better perception of the organization in the public eye. It is for this reason that Genomorph Labs and I.C.O.R. have retained their identities and function like corporations while they are also in fact government facilities, not unlike contracted companies.

Established back in the 1960's, Genomorph Laboratories has always been one of the top research centers of biological and genetic studies, in the U.S. and the World. Located in a five story building at 1070 Dexter Avenue North in Seattle, in the building of the former Battelle Seattle Research Centre, it is the leader of the NWDD Research Sector providing presence in the Federation.

All members of Genomorph are agents of the NWDD working in the capacity of Research and Investigation.

E.A.A. (EAST AMERICAN ALLIANCE) FIELD OFFICES & ASSOCIATES

I.C.O.R.

Director of NWDD Eastern Research Division: Was once @Atticus Gale but as of March of 2017 it is now Lyric Locklin.

Deputy Director of NWDD Eastern Research Division Jude Matthews

ICOR, the Institute for Cybernetic and Organic Research, located on the corner of East 26th Street and Mt Carmel Place (next to Phipps Housing, Manhatten) was founded back in 1983. It began as a small company, but through it's founder's (Jude Matthews) perseverance and unethical business deals, ICOR grew to stand among the largest and most powerful corporations in the country. It specializes in the development of cybernetic enhancements that improve quality of life, but they also had several military contracts which the NWDD is now continuing.

ICOR houses the Eastern Branches of the NWDD Research & Investigative Sectors.

Not all employees of ICOR are agents of the NWDD, some are what are referred to as being part of the 'company side'. They are not government employees but rather civilians in employ of the government owned facility.
